A wonderful good morning to Saturday coffee with a little this and that and many beautiful things we would like to knit.

Only a few days until Christmas and today you read our last Saturday Coffee this year. The time is just racing by and even if I this year thanks to mindful gift diet in the family so far hardly the real, dreaded Christmas stress has overtaken (you know, the one in which you try to master the gift mania), so there is little time for leisurely browsing the net at the moment. Thanks to really good preparation and an extremely dedicated team in my now dizzyingly large warehouse, the shipping works very well even now in the turbulent Advent calendar time. But of course, in a month as wild as December, there are always one or two more problems that need to be solved as soon as possible. Suddenly a wrong pin lands in the mailbox. A pin is suddenly sold out, unnoticed by us, but still available in the backend. A delivery address was entered incorrectly in the heat of the order. A package was damaged or lost at DHL. I forgot to reorder a certain color of yarn. Another yarn is no longer in stock enough for a bulk order in one lot. And and. Little things that happen in the "normal" store routine, of course, but when it comes to December, they happen more often. And so my focus for the rest of December is on the coordination of store and shipping and our weekly net whisper takes a little break. Until we have many, beautiful new knitting ideas to whisper again in January.

Cashmere Weekend in Stitch Samples Advent Calendar

We're curling up at home this weekend in keeping with the gray weather and what fits better than one of the most beautiful fibers on the needles, cashmere? Today in the Advent Calendar, you'll find 10% off Road to China Light from the Fibre Company (featured in our main image here above the post today). It has a teeny tiny amount of cashmere, alongside camel, silk and alpaca, very brilliant colors I think due to its light sheen and is just totally fun on the needles. There are a good handful of kits in the store, but Road to China Light is so classy that you could knit it in the simplest shawl in the world and it would still look crazy great. Who needs pattern for that. By the way, since the littlest miss here in the house is growing properly, my beloved wrap jacket is now also almost too small. Calls for the next size.

Every day the slider for our advent calendar changes on the front page, where you can see the current yarn and which leads you directly to all matching knitting kits and wool packages. Usually, I switch the slider around midnight. But it can also happen that you find it in the morning. Anyway, it's worth to have a look every day.

The most beautiful knit sweater finds of the week

Also this week we have found again allertollste knitting pattern for sweaters to which we have beautiful, matching yarns in the store. Really, I'm surprised myself from week to week that we just never run out of knitting ideas thanks to so many great knitwear designers on the net. Also yes and as always: If you have found other tutorials and need yarn advice, feel free to send us an email!

There is now, for example, the brand-new sweater called "Neona" by Isabell Kraemer, knitted seamlessly top down. You could knit it from Pascuali Saffira, a finest blend of merino and mulberry silk, a relatively new yarn from Pascuali.

Also this week is again Verena Cohrs, this time with her sweater Gather, whose tutorial has gone online quasi just at this moment, namely the day before yesterday. We have selected from the store Lang MERINO 200 BEBE, in which there is certainly the right color for every taste.

Almost as young is the tutorial for the sweater RAUWERK TREES by Katrin Schneider, for which we have directly created a matching wool package for you with the matching amount of Bergamo from LAMANA. This sweater is worked from the bottom up.

Beautiful cardigans to knit....

... is made just as easy for us. Because we have also found many beautiful parts of it again in the last week.

For example, there is the new design called "Dreamy cardigan for girls" by Trine Bertelsen, which you could knit from Pascuali Babyalpaca Los Andes. A very simple project, also worked top down.

You can find the pattern for the Pure Comfort Cardigan by Andrea Yetman for free on Ravelry. Pascuali Bayak would fit perfectly to it.

In brevity lies the spice in fluff from Justyna Lorkowska, rather a jacket, to knit from Pascuali Alpaca Fino. You can find the pattern on Ravelry.

Again and again we also stumble upon older, but simply timelessly beautiful designs, such as the Avion Cardigan by Katrin Schneider for which we have also put a matching wool package in the store, which I can hardly resist myself. And namely we have chosen there the combination Modena and Premia from LAMANA. Really very magical for such a fine jacket! So if you are just looking for and you like the design: strike and look forward to cozy knitting during the Christmas vacations.

Oh, we have one more: The Evening Dew Cardigan by Ririko, which you could knit very nicely from FibreCo Cumbria Fingering. Cumbria Fingering contains a good amount of mohair, I love it so much and I'm sure it will come out great in this beautifully delicate patterned cardigan. Also a super great holiday project! Matching the cardigan there is then also a hat.

Podcasts on our ears, or what we're listening to while knitting....

... well, these days I honestly mainly during my countless, relaxing sleep walks with the baby girl, which I always take in the turbulent store everyday. But when I'm not walking, playing with the kids or working, I love listening to podcasts while knitting and I'm sure you do too.

I really liked the episode "Ganz schön krank, Leute! (via Itunes, Soundcloud or Spotify) with Stefanie Luxat, because in it she simply said some really good things about "comparing ourselves" online, the Insta-stress and why we can make it for ourselves or just leave it alone. Shortly thereafter, she also published an article on social media on her blog that is well worth reading.

What you knit - Maschenfeines on the net

Every week we like to browse through your stitchy projects on Instagram. If you tag them with the hashtag #maschenfein, we can easily find them.

Gabriele and Bärbel are busy knitting arm warmers from our arm warmers collection. On the left side of the picture you can see the hand warmers Namar, which are knitted from Rakuda by ITO. You can find the pattern without yarn here. And on the right you can see the handwarmers Ruduo, which are knitted from the beautiful combination of Modena and Premia mentioned above. Tinstructionsttern can also be found separately as a PDF in the store.

Even more arm warmers, namely the named Syksy, Fiona has on the needles here's to the tutorial without yarn. The Dineke sweater, which Kathrin is also knitting at the moment and for which we have a brand new and ingenious knitting kit consisting of ROWAN Alpaca Classic and Cashmere Tweed in the store since the original yarns have run out, also fits quite well.

Shawls, shawls, shawls may not be missing here in the weekly review. With me today Hinata in the Piura-Premia combination of Nordmasche from my first book "Knitting shawls" and the shawl Tara, here knitted by Main.Knit from my second shawl book "More shawls knitting".

And also head and feet are warmed. On the left, a project from my Basics book Knitting Stitch by Stitch, namely the hat with cables. And on the right the Vinr socks (knitting kit) from Laine magazine issue 6.

Many, many Maschenfeine calendars are in circulation and I am so happy every day, about so much insanely positive feedback from you. I'm also really proud, it turned out so pretty. "Knitting - My Weekly Planner 2019″ is not just a calendar, but also a pretty one, with lots of important content for us knitters to look up, practical tables and a beautiful layout. I have firmly resolved to show it to you soon in detail, I will certainly come soon and a small download goodie, for which some are already waiting, there will be. I promise!

Have a great weekend!
