Hand cuffs Syksy

The hand warmers Syksy (= Finnish: Autumn) are started on the forearm in two-thread Milano in a pearl pattern. After a narrow cuff, the work continues in stockinette stitch, interspersed with garter stitch rounds of Premia (also two-thread), to the thumb. Here, for the thumb opening, the work continues a bit in rows. Again closed to the round, it goes on to the final cuff. This is knitted in the bead pattern, just like the beginning.
The width of the stripes knitted in stockinette stitch decreases from the underarm to the end at the fingers. The number of stripes of the same width increases.
Finally, an I-cord finish is worked for the thumbhole.

The knitting kit contains the necessary amount of LAMANA Milano (90% merino, 10% cashmere) and Premia (60% mohair, 40% silk) in your desired colors and optionally the pattern as PDF. In addition, you will need needles (needle loops, long circular knitting needles for Magic Loop or short circular knitting needles) with a gauge of 3.0 and 3.5 mm (or matching the gauge).
