A wonderful good morning to the Saturday coffee with a little this and that from the knitting world and around Maschenfein.

I feel a little slowed down. Not only because it's vacation time again (Berlin fall vacations), but also because I promptly caught a cold with the change in weather and have to tame three bright kids with different needs with a stuffy nose. Sandra is also sick, she must have exhausted herself a bit at the Maschenfeinen Stricktreffn in Nuremberg, but is still holding the fort together with Bea (and of course all the busy little bees in the camp).

My knitting calendar came just in time this week to cause a little excitement in the Maschenfein community on Instagram. I actually discovered it first on Instagram before I even got around to opening my package here at home and admiring my first copy myself. And what can I say? I am really in love.

The booklet is wunderwunderhübsch become, certainly I will present it to you also hie still something more detailed, but you can also find on Instagram already some impressions, in the Stories I had already presented it and that now saved in the "Highlights" in the Maschenfein profile.

I'm really looking forward to discovering your pictures on Instagram. Of course you can already find the calendar here in the Maschenfeinshop.

On the left in the picture, by the way, also the needle bag from Twig & Horn. There is the version in canvas and the variant in wool felt. I have one each (one for short needle tips and one for long... ).

Wittmoor Jana Huck Maschenfein Samstagskaffee 176Photos: @ Jana Huck

Also this week there is of course again much to marvel and browse. Wittmoor by Jana Huck is already a few days old, we have put together the matching yarn package, the shawl is knitted from ITO Rakuda and Sensai. Jana is a true artist on the needles and so this shawl is also not simply knitted smooth and curly, but holds a little challenge in the form of the Navajo technique, which the curly stripes triple reinforce. You can find the pattern on Ravelry also in German.

There is again something new from Suvi Simola, namely the sweater Right Direction. For the matching yarn package we have also packed you here Rakuda and Sensai from ITO together. And here you can find the pattern. Also in German!

And once again Rakuda and Sensai fits great to the Himmeli of eri. The pattern are only available in English (or alternatively Japanese), but he's so pretty that it's certainly worth the work. It is knitted seamlessly top down.

We have a wonderful new yarn in the store, Rowan Cashmere Tweed. You are already asking for pattern, we are in the process of putting together matching wool packs and knitting kits, we also found the Faceted Yoke Sweater by Purl Soho, which Cashmere Tweed goes well with. You can findinstructionsttern on Ravelry.

You prefer to wear cardigans? Then perhaps Holyport Street by Erika Knight is something for you. You can knit it from Alpaca Fino by Pascuali.

The same yarn, alpaca fino, also goes well with Newale by Cecily Glowik MacDonald. A delicate jacket with an interesting pocket construction.

Otherwise, we now finally celebrate the beginning of the shawl weather! So time to dig out my two books knitting shawls and knitting more shawls. Many beautiful beginnings of the shawls can already be seen on Instgram.

There is, for example, Nee (to the knitting kit Nell), one of the doubleface shawls. You can knit it now, so that it will be ready in winter. Because in Doubleface are knitted here factually two scarves in one.

Tara is also always nice to see. Left still very small and right already grown neatly! The matching knitting kit for Tara contains the necessary amount of Milano in the desired colors.

An older BIld, but soooo pretty is the cloth Eden left. And classic stripes like here in the Lera cloth are also always great.

And here another Evolet cloth on the left and the Cerlane with the braid in the middle on the right.

You can never have enough scarves, right? And as a Christmas gift, they can also now still great needle.

Have a great weekend!
