A wonderful good morning to the Saturday coffee with a little this and that from the knitting world and around Maschenfein.
The past week was crazy in the store. My pretty bracelet in the picture, is one of the last copies, which once shown in my Instastories, went away like hotcakes. As if you had all been waiting for it and I was very surprised to receive so much feedback from numerous viewers who already have exactly such a bracelet. I have not known these wrist ruler so long. But long speech, short sense: I have of course immediately reordered all colors. Because you can also wish for Christmas.
Also brand new in the store we have the first two yarns from Rowan. This also went in the last week now very, very quickly. I have thought for many weeks, which new manufacturer I want to introduce here and then poof Rowan came last week to visit the little baby girl and me and again poof Cashmere Tweed and Big Wool were ordered and have now arrived in the warehouse.
For the Cashmere Tweed I decided very spontaneously, because it immediately triggered in me an incredible fireworks of inspiration. The colors are beautiful and the yarn is just buttery soft. So this just has to be. Immediately. Preferably already three parts ready knitted.
I have known the Big Wool for a long time and it is very similar to the Fire from Lang Yarns, but has a different color palette and no poly content. And I know that many of you are deterred by even the smallest poly content. So you've come to the right place with Big Wool. And it can be knitted quickly as well... I only say 10mm to 15mm needles. Can you still talk about knitting? Or is that rather sport? No matter, there are beautiful parts, for example Kiriko by Regina Moessmer:

We have directly set the matching wool package for Kiriko . It is knitted seamlessly top down, with a provisional cast on and lots and lots of stockinette stitch. You'll be finished faster than you can cast on.

Regina Moessmer still has beautiful parts anyway. RHEA, for example, we also like very much. You can find the tutorial on Ravelry and matching you could browse Lamana Milano for beautiful colors.

If you prefer something more colorful, the Bordure sweater by Bristol Ivy might be something for you. She always designs really exciting pieces in special constructions. This sweater is first knitted in rounds from the bottom up, the sleeves too, and later stitches are picked up on the sleeves, which are then worked on together with the body, using short rows to form. You can already see from the stripe sequence that this is not a standard construction. Looks like fun! You could use Alpakka Silke SANDNES great, there are also lots of nice colors to combine.

For the fast knitting mamas among you, we've still found the perfect partner look: Madeline Hoodie and Maddie Hoodie by Carrie Bostick Hoge. Our yarn suggestion: Tynn Alpakka Ull SANDNES.
And since now e-n-d-l-i-c-h the cuddle cloth weather is just around the corner, another cuddle cloth for you:

The Saltum shawl from Gretha Mensen I like super, super good. Perfect fit does Lamana Como. For example in silk gray. Or in curry!
Next week there will be a tiny little mini-shoot here at Maschenfein, which had to be cancelled last week (DHL was to blame). You could already catch a few nasty little mini teasers from our test knitters on Instagram: Photos left © sandragroll and right © frau.ente
Not a test knitter on the left, but the designer behind this secret mini piece, knit from ITO Rakuda and tested right by Lina.

And here are a few pictures of Lina, our super tester, you see, it can not be too big parts. No blanket. No cardigan... on the left Lamana Milano together with Lamana Premia and on the right Lamana Modena together with Lamana Premia (this design had sweetened an evening in the hospital a little).
Last but not least, a little Hygge show from our Knit Along. All designs are available in the book " Hygge Wohlfühlkleidung stricken" (which is worth mentioning again because the question "which pattern did you use to knit this?" keeps coming up).

Here twice the Feikje cardigan, the cover model, here by Marion and Astrid. Knitted from Lun Ull and Børstet Alpakka and really tested way also suitable for beginners, because my friend Martina has this cardigan actually as a bloody beginner just on the needles and must only finish the sleeves. All respect!

The Oline cardigan like this one from Stephanie and Tanja is knitted from alpaca fino and mine was gone faster than I could look. Grandma is allowed to wear it. She is allowed to wear it because she will surely treat it with more care than I ever would. Maybe one day he will return to me in best condition, I'm looking forward to it.

Here you see two times Elna on the needles of Sabine and Kathrin. Elna is the popular autumn coat, I have seen on Instagram already many finished Elnas, which can be knitted namely also nice and fast!
