A wonderful good morning to Saturday coffee, with a few beautiful ideas from the knitting world, there is so much beautiful to discover again. Since many of you think of us, a very small mini-private feedback: We are doing well, we are home for a few days, but still have a big hurdle to overcome before everyday life can return. I don't want to get much more specific right now, we're just refueling a bit and I really appreciate your good wishes.

On Instagram the other night I got stuck on this beautiful sweater that Cashsoft Baby, Mini Alpakka or Alpakka Silke would go great with. I really like this sleeve design, just struggling with the shortness of the sweater because right now I love wearing oversize, or hipster shorts. I then looked at what else Lori Versaci is doing behind this design, and I think this wide stole is gorgeous. For example, from Bergamo. The pattern comes from a very simple sequence from the book Sequence Knitting, which is full of such addictive pattern sequences. I already introduced this book to you in more detail here on the blog two (!!!) years ago. I can't believe it's really been that long. My goodness how time flies....

With this sweater Katrin Schneider has succeeded again a very, very big throw, I think. The photos do the rest and you almost can not get around Amrum. You can find the matching wool package in the store, the sweater is knitted from the wonderful new cashmere yarn Karei from ITO.

The second new yarn from ITO is called Shimo, a special combination of recycled silk and lambswool. Anke has just released a matching tutorial, the sweater Rime and of course we have packed the matching wool package for you, so that the size and quantity selection is quite easy.

Even if the weather (at least here in Berlin) still a little resists colder temperatures: it's soon cap weather again! There is now a nice selection of caps here in the store. Very new is Savage Saffron from the Wool Addicts collection, knitted from Fire it goes crazy fast from the 9mm needles.

A real classic is the cap 1717-13 from Sandnes Alpakka Silke. So really, such a cap in stockinette stitch with rolled edge you just have to have in the closet or? I have such a purchased version, I should replace this winter times.

Also from Susanne aka Paulastrickt or Paula-m we still have beautiful knitting kits in the store, which now become exciting again. The hat Sarah and (who prefers to wear headbands) for example also the headband Ola. You remember? Susanne published her book knitting headbands last winter!

There is also a lot going on in the Maschenfein knitting round. Miriam has Janukke's shawl "Small and Smaller" in Rakuda on the needles and Dagmar has knitted Isabell Krämer's "Yume" sweater in two strands of Shio and Gima.

Tanja (left) creates an Oline Cardigan from the needles and Sophia is busy knitting Bjarka. So great to see your designs according to our latest book in different color variations now arise!

Have a great, stitch-filled weekend!
