Shore tee
The Shore Tee by Anne Ventzel is a beautiful summer shirt with lace pattern. It is knitted from the top down. The shoulder section is knitted as a yoke in rounds. From the armhole on, knit the front and back separately in rows. The back is knitted a little longer than the front. This creates a great fit. Under the armpits, the shirt is then knitted again in the round. For the sleeves, pick up stitches from the armholes. Use short rows to form the shoulder here, so that the sleeves sit great.
Sizes
1 (2) 3 (4) 5 = chest circumference of shirt 94 (103) 111 (120) 129 cm
Anne Ventzel wears the shirt with 11 cm positive ease. But to be on the safe side, measure your favorite shirt and choose the right size afterwards.

Tatsiana -
I think this model is so beautiful! I knit it from the yarn Allora (from Lana Grossa, a discontinued yarn that is no longer available, I had it in my wool stash for two years). But I bought some Sandnes Tyn Line here in the store because I like it so much in the picture. As soon as I've finished the first one, I'll knit the second one straight away. I'm more of a fine knitter and love delicate yarns and thin needles, so knitting this shirt is a lot of fun. The pattern is very simple, so much so that I now think of it as "stockinette knitting". I can't put it down because it looks and feels so nice.
I'm just not sure now whether I should knit the second one in pure Tynn Line or with alpaca leg yarn (I have thin Lamana Piura in my wool stash anyway). Actually, I only want to knit it in pure linen yarn so that it is cooling. Alpaca is more warming, so I have doubts about whether I should leave out the alpaca when it's over 26°C?

Hello,
Is the tynn line yarn a heavy weight yarn? I would like the shirt to stay airy. Alternatively, can I knit the shirt with the fine merino yarn or the silk yarn from knitting for Olive.
Thanks a lot

Dear Carlotta,
no, Tynn Line is not a heavy yarn, your knit will stay nice and airy with our yarn suggestion. Your mentioned alternatives Merino or Pure Silk from Knitting for Olive are both well suited. With the Merino, however, it will of course be less summery, so I would rather stick with Tynn Line or swing to Pure Silk.
Kind regards
Louisa
