Description

Arild Kofte- Tema 76-07

The Arild Kofte for children from the Tema 76 booklet is a typical Nordic pattern cardigan. It is knitted from the bottom up.

The lower cuff is knitted in rows. Then cast on additional stitches (the steek stitches) and close to the round. Up to the neckline, the jacket is now knitted in the round including the pattern. You also knit the sleeves in the round. Finally, cut open the jacket at the steek stitches at the front and also at the sleeve openings. Then sew on the sleeves and knit the remaining cuffs.
