Hello June! I almost missed the beginning of the month if Jane hadn't so urgently reminded me that she was missing the kickoff to "On the Needles June". Thanks a million for the reminder! I started this series three (!) years ago, already on my old blog with my readers and I would never have thought that firstly I would keep it up for so long and secondly that it would establish itself as a real Maschenfein brand. I'm happy every month anew that you all participate so diligently, link you here and use the appropriate hashtags on Instagram, because I click through all the posts regularly.

I have two projects on the needles in June first. My Vneckboxy and the Hinata cloth.

The Vneckboxy is knitted in two strands of ITO Urugami and ITO Shio, which is a really great combination. When Kerstin showed me her Summer from this very combination the other day, washed and stretched, I was so enraptured that I would have loved to fire up the turbo to finally finish the sweater. I don't lack too much length anymore, only time. And now the Vneckboxy has to share this time with the newly knitted Hinata.

After all, Hinata was peer pressure, that had to be needled on. I'm knitting it two skein from Premia and Piura and I love it so much after just a few inches. I'm looking forward to a lot more knitting time after all that book writing! And I think it's great to knit a project together with you, it's just twice the fun.
