Two more months 2020! Or also: We have November (a month, by the way, I like very much!). So it's also time again for "On the needles". We'll tell you what we're knitting right now and of course you're welcome to share what you're working on under this post. On Instagram just use the hashtag #aufdennadelnnovember. Or you can show your (started) works in our Facebook group. Either way, we're just knitting away all the worries and negative thoughts as best we can. Oh, and as a little extra we have thought of a nice action for you, of which we already tell you a little detail below.

Even if the mild temperatures don't suggest it right now - it's definitely autumn. And what belongs in autumn? Beanies of course! Sandra knows that too and has therefore chosen cap Ole from Paula-m.

Ole according to an pattern by Paula-m with double folded cuff, knitted from cashmere 6/28 in half brioche. Who knows me, knows how much I love (half) brioche and so Ole has me to my next project quasi angefixt

Depending on the circumference of your head and whether you want to work the cuff twice or not, you will need two to four balls of cashmere yarn. Alternatively, you can also knit the combination Merida and Premia from LAMANA. Depending on the size, you will need one to two balls of Merida and one ball of Premia (by the way, one of my favorites when it comes to silk-mohair yarns).

Jule also knits something for the head - her own design: the headband Vicky. Such a piece is ideal for anyone who wants to practice knitting cable patterns. With two balls of Bergamo, it's also quickly finished. Do I hear the word "Christmas gift"? I think so...

Rope for the neck

Let's move down the body a bit. What's there? The neck. And of course it has to be knitted in, cold protection and all. Sophia takes the subject seriously and therefore knits two loops. Better safe than sorry! One of them is simply a long-term project. You know: the Osaka in rounds.

The Osaka is knitted from ITO's Sensai, also a wonderful silk-mohair yarn with an insanely beautiful color palette. Especially now, when the stress may increase again, it is a super knitting project where you just do not have to think.

Slightly more elaborate, but really also suitable for beginners, is the loop "Encadré" by Julie Hoover. We already presented it to you in detail a few weeks ago in Saturday Coffee. In the knitting kit we have packed the Cashmere Lace by Pascuali, but you can also - like Sophia - take the Milano by LAMANA. Whatever you decide, the loop is suitable for all who want to dare to knit multicolored, but for whom a whole sweater or cardigan is still too much.

Sophia knits the loop a little smaller (three balls of main color, one ball of contrast color). If you want to get to the original size, we recommend you to take five balls in the main color and two in the contrast color. This way you should have enough left over after the loop to knit the cuffs from our basic book "Stitch by Stitch".

Warm feet

As is well known, the feet are located at the very bottom of the body. And they also want to be wrapped up warmly. How about a wonderful pair of felted slippers?

Marisa knits cute felt slippers from SANDNES fritids yarn for the young man in the house. The construction is quite interesting (and not only because Marisa knitted according to the Norwegian pattern). You have now really got the desire to felt? Then stay tuned! We have thought up a great action for you. You'll find out more this week! But you can already start the slippers 😉 And choose your favorite color at the Fritidsgarn.

To provide a little variety in the daily knitting routine, Sandra has also chosen a design from one of the Laine magazines. I just say: Laine, design by Kathrin Schneider, brioche knit, Alpaca Fino. Finished is a favorite project. In blue, of course! Or as Sandra herself said, "It's good for the soul!"
