A wonderful good morning to Saturday Coffee, which feels totally hungover to me this week. Not a normal hangover, but Corona hangover, as Steffi so aptly put it in one of her podcasts last week. Somehow, the air is out. I'm exhausted, tired, don't like it anymore. No more cleaning up. No more waiting. No more keeping my distance.... I lacked the desire for everything in the last few days and I hope to be able to recharge my batteries over the weekend. To do this, I would also like to take a little blog break for the next one or two Saturdays. Just tidy up the store and our site a bit, take care of the future design of the site, get some ideas and maybe knit a bit more. Accompany me during this break but on Instagram, there I remain online and also in our Facebook round it is exciting with a lot of exchange on all Maschenfeinen topics.

But a little helps the head knitting yes. Inspirations usually make a better mood and so I try to write me today once again in knitting mood ... I start directly with beautiful Amelia scarves, because I just noticed that I have not yet presented the Amelia shooting result. Yet our model scarves have become so wonderful and so different in their effect by the different color combinations!

Here is the combination of Tynn Alpakka Ull and Tynn Silk Mohair, from our kit no. 01. Louisa knitted this shawl and then gave it to Sandra. Team Blue! And now you all want to know what kind of blue this is and unfortunately I have to announce loudly: Sold out. There is no longer, Sandnes can not deliver more. No idea who has this color just so deleted from the range... But does not matter, because there are beautiful alternative shades of blue and actually Curry is also mega cool, look:

This is the original original from Sandra who gave it to me and I cherish it, currently wearing it almost daily. It is such a great, big cuddle cloth! The colors are always in the kit.

I find it fascinating how different colors are combined with each other and work. On black-green I would never have come, is so not my Beuteschema, but fits mega with white blouse and jeans. Knitted this cloth Marta and may now wear it Bea. As you can see, the Amelia scarves have traveled all over Germany. This one is also the line version from kit no. 03, where we still have this color combination:

Same yarn, completely different effect. Crazy, right? This one belongs to Sibel, who also wears it herself when she's not snuggling up the curry-colored version she knitted right after. A woman can never have too many tutors.

The duo version in two shades of pink belongs.... sure! Lina (who is currently knitting something blue, though)! You'll find it in this kit no. 02. Duo was the surprise of the last year for me, when I knitted it for the Sunday Sweater and didn't want to put it down. It's a yarn like butter and also wears really, really great solo like here in this Amelia shawl. However, Duo is unfortunately no longer available in all colors unlimited... only again after the long summer break in Norway, at Sandnes. But for now you still have and again enough choice. Also looks beautiful in these colors:

So classy, don't you think? This one belongs to Silvie. And with it I'm wearing the Curry... er "Blue Tunnel" from a tutorial by Katrin Schneider, which Sandra knitted last year during our Cowgirl Blues Knit Along. Do you remember? It all started with Winnie, the shawl for which we created a special summer edition. The Winnie summer kits, which included a bag and pin, are no longer available, but since you liked the yarn so much, we added it to the store and then just added a Cowgirl Blues Knit Along. With many beautiful designs, including this Blue Tunnel.

Sandra's Blue Tunnel once again in full glory and in detail. And if you want to knit Winnie, you can find the pattern here in the store, we should still create a normal knitting kit, it occurs to me on this occasion... Oh and you know what? Because Sandra couldn't get enough of Katrin Schneidinstructionsttern or Cowgirl Blues or just both, she knitted Stage Diving right on the back? Or was it there first? I don't know, my head is smoking and I can't keep up with Sandra's knitting tempo, although unfortunately she suffers from a Corona hangover just like me and even knitting isn't that easy for us anymore.

The photos are in any case a bit older and so carefree, as I look there, I do not feel at the moment. That's why the Wooly Hugs from ChrisBerlin will soon be on the needles in the Maschenfein office. Because a hug just fits so nicely right now. And in our podcast ChrisBerlin really infected me with the idea of putting a scarf around my shoulders, which thanks to ingenious construction easily becomes a cardigan.

Our matching wool package we have developed in the podcast also directly and so you can find the package of LAMANA Piura and Cusi from now on here in our store. I have already chosen the color today: it should be copper. Knits me our maschenfein Petra, because she has just quite the opposite to me nothing on the needles. With me, on the other hand, there is the greatest project backlog danger - urgs.

Oh our podcast! Yes, it's been online since the day before yesterday - the fourth episode of the Maschenfeinen podcast "Just one more row". Chris and I talked for a delightfully long time. About knitting travel, knitting friendships, test knitting, and knit design. And I could have listened for hours more. Make yourselves comfortable! And please don't be alarmed, the end is a bit abrupt. I forgot to record the credits because I was so tired and had Corona blues. And if you listen carefully, you can hear the smallest Miss croaking in the background... that's how it is... podcasts in Corona times.

A few more news: The first colors of Shibui Silk Cloud arrived this week, which I had to have urgently, because it fits so wonderfully tone in tone with the other Shibui yarns. I fell in love with the Caffeine color pictured here right away. Lunar is already in stock in Caffeine, we are still waiting for Silk Cloud in this color.

There are also new accessories coming soon to the store, which are already here on my desk ready. I'm so looking forward to it! Not that we get bored here. And also from proven, classic Maschenfein accessories come supplies, such as our good Mien project bags. Soon back in stock, Maja has been busy!

Maschenfein knitting round on Instagram

I love to browse through your projects on sleepless nights, and in the last few days more and more Luna shawls have come my way:

Here, for example, the two scarves from Manuela (left) and Verena (right). The knitting kit in the original yarn "Sultano Fine" by Rowan can be found here. And if you still have enough yarn in your stash, you can find the pattern alone here, of course.

Evelyn (right) knitted Luna from the Sandnes alternative and she's already finished. You can find this knitting kit here. And who would like to have a little more pattern: Anita knitted Kyler by Iabell Krämer from five skeins of "Sultano Fine", looks wonderful! You can find the knitting pattern here and the yarn here.

The two I still have for you! Steffi has finished your Sunday Sweater Mohair Edition, yay! And Martina has knitted a Talula shawl and staged it so beautifully! You can find the knitting kit for the Sunday Sweater in the Mohair Edition here and the good old Talula here.

And now I wish you a relaxing, hopefully sunny weekend. With a trip. Blue skies. Conversations. Perspectives. And courage!
