A wonderful good morning to Saturday coffee with some nice embroidery links from the net!

Saturday coffee-52

I think I had already linked it somewhere: an overview of the different gauge techniques and how they then appear in the knitting pattern. Can't look at it often enough. By the way, among the provisional cast-ons, I've recently been very fond of the crochet cast-on, in which the provisional stitches are crocheted on.

A few more nice gift ideas I have for you: These slippers, for example, even equipped with anti-slip soles, whether there are comparable on the German market, I do not know, however. Otherwise, these with a felt sole are also quite interesting. I don't know if they are suitable for gift giving (without possibly sending an unwanted message), but I find these kitchen dishcloths very clever, because they have tulle knitted into them so that they scrub properly. And if you want to give Star Wars fans a gift, here's a free tutorial for R2D2, or you can quickly get your hands on this book full of Star Wars crochet tutorials.

I have many ideas what I could wish for myself. First and foremost I am in love with almost all the beautiful accessories from Fringe Supply Co, unfortunately hard to get in this country. There is a new lookbook, such beautiful pictures, such great knit bags! The Field Bag in black or gray has done it to me especially.

Do you have any special knitting accessories on your wish list?

Have a nice Santa Claus and second Advent!
