A wonderful good morning to the Saturday coffee on Sunday morning. After I unexpectedly found a big box of new books in the garage on Friday evening, I was just too excited to prepare the Saturday coffee as I should actually do on Friday evening. I know but you are also happy about it on Sundays and today I also have a real inspiration explosion for you! Sooo many beautiful project ideas! Three to eight I could smooth even directly on needle. I wish I hadn't tried out Sultano Fine last week and started on the sixth project, a beautiful shawl that you can look forward to very soon. But for Sultano Fine I also have a few other ideas... they are perhaps next week in the Saturday Coffee.

So much information already in the first paragraph, you notice, I get going. The knitting season has already started in my head.

But let's start from the beginning: the box full of new books - our new book is here! Knitting - The Encyclopedia. Tadaaa! It turned out wonderfully pretty and I'm downright enchanted. Because the cover is blue. With gold. And because the content is so compact and so complete, like I always wanted a little encyclopedia-to-go. One for the handbag that you can always pull out, on the train, at the airport, on the beach, at the lake, in the waiting room, when you have suddenly forgotten again how it was with the Italian stitch stop. Or with the simple cast-off. Or with the envelope. And what was that shortened row thing again. It's all in there! Sorted nicely by alphabet from A for "cast off" to Z for "join two edges". We are very happy and I think you will like it too!

Also "here" is the brand-new Laine Magazine No. 09, this beautiful magazine that you can just put on your sofa table during the winter and leaf through again and again. And if you like, you'll find wonderful pattern in it, for which we've put matching knitting kits in the store. Here you can find an overview of all kits and these are our three favorites:

We would knit the cardigan "Joy" by Renée Callahan with "Extra" by Blue Sky Fibers, which is still stuck in customs at the moment. However, we have already created the kit and if you would like to be notified when the yarn arrives, you can sign yourself up on the yarn page.

For the cardigan "Summer Longing" by Susanne Sommer we have Cumbria Fingering from The Fibre Company in the store. It is knit top down with raglan construction. In right and purl stitches with curly knitted sleeves.

You can knit the sweater "Woodbine" by Fiona Alice with two strands of Smart and Tynn Silk Mohair. Lace (hole pattern) as far as the eye can see.

There are a lot of new patterns - as it should be for a proper start of the knitting season. Rowan has published a lot of new patterns in the last weeks and we will publish the most beautiful ones (for us) as knitting kits for you. But some of them are already available as PDF pattern, I'll show you some of them:

This is "Breeze" by Lisa Richardson, which had me in gasps at the last show in the spring. I don't know if one or the other remembers it from the stories. After all, I had discovered it there and spontaneously fell in love. Since then I have been waiting for the pattern. I think it is just great. It is knitted with three yarns and we have them all here in the store by now! Kidsilk Haze, Island Blend and Cashmere Haze. You can also keep Kidsilk Haze or Cashmere Haze double and then combine only one of these two yarns with Island Blend. If this is relevant for you in terms of color or price. The important thing is to keep three threads together. The tutorial is not free, but you can easily find it without a magazine as a PDF here on Ravelry. Also in German!

Just as great, but ATTENTION: crocheted (!) Is this cardigan called "Mild". Also a design by Lisa Richardson, but she also makes beautiful designs. Crochet with strength 5 and again with the three yarns Kidsilk Haze, Island Blend and Cashmere Haze. The pattern are available (also in German) here on Ravelry.

This Lisa Richardson makes really beautiful things. You can look here on Ravelry in her gallery. I can not show it all here, then you sit tomorrow morning still at the Käffchen. Only this one still:

Focault, an XXL scarf knitted from Alpaca Soft DK, this is already on my desk ready for a stitch test and feels at least as soft as it looks in these pictures. The pattern for this stole are not available on Ravelry, but I am organizing the magazine for a knitting kit. Promise!

What else is new? Sandnes of course, many new Sandnes magazines. We have finished creating the magazines 1905, 1906 and 1910 and of course we have also created all the matching knitting kits.

SANDNES 1905 is a booklet with pretty knits for babies, should this be your "theme". Here you can find all kits from this booklet. On the picture are the left Kosebukse 1905-01 and right Rilledress 1905-03.

If you have bigger children to knit, then the SANDNES 1906 for Kids booklet might be something for you. All kits from this booklet can be found here. The pictures show the Fargesprell Genser 1906-06 on the left and the Strukturgenser 1906-05 on the right.

Then we have for you still Elin, a sweater from Regina Moessmer found and packed the wool package consisting of BC yarn Bio Balance. You can find the pattern on Ravelry.

And last but not least (for today :)) the Aldous - sweater by Isabell Kraemer, to which you can also find a matching wool package with us, packed from Fibre Company Cumbria Fingering. The tutorial is available here on Ravelry.
