A wonderful good morning to Saturday coffee on the third weekend of Advent with a little knitting net whisper.

saturday coffee-999

The last week was very intense here with children's birthday parties and lots of action. Some things that I had planned to do, have therefore been left behind. There was no newsletter as planned (actually so important in the pre-Christmas season) and also the Ruby cloth is not yet finished noted, but remains a to-do on my list. But my UFO policewoman admonished me again and promised to do it a third time if need be. So it's coming, I promise!

But I also managed to do a lot. For example, I took lots of beautiful Loppa color inspiration photos. If you now have three big question marks hovering over your forehead, this is the Loppa cardigan that so many are knitting right now in the beautiful, soft Como yarn that is one hundred percent non-scratchy. I've photographed many beautiful Como colorways for Loppas and they always get hotly debated in the Maschenfein Facebook round.

In addition, I have loaded the first wonderfully great ITO yarns in the store. I am so happy about this further cooperation, which I have been working on for a while. The yarns complement my assortment so beautifully with many new materials, run lengths and colors. You may be curious, what comes in there still so everything. Many individual cones and balls I now have on my desk. In the coming year, some Maschenfein pattern will be created from them. I'm sure I'll soon tell you a little more about the yarns.

Together with the first ITO yarns two new wool packages have moved in. There is namely a German-speaking knitwear designer who has already worked a lot with these beautiful yarns: Jana Huck aka Janukke. I am very much looking forward to introduce her to you, but in the meantime you can already have a look at the wool packages for the wonderful, festive Advent Shawl and the beautiful Pünkten Pulswärmern and of course order them.

Speaking of ordering: Somehow, since the intensive extensions of the store, something hangs in the backend and it comes with some combinations of yarns to problems when ordering. I'm working on it, should this happen to you, just send me an email with the desired order and I'll send you the invoice manually, that's no problem! I'm just a real start-up, that doesn't work without problems and aches and pains and I'm not running out of construction sites. Would also be terribly boring, then I would have far too much knitting time, haha!

Do you actually like crocheting? Lamana has a very cool tutorial for free this weekend, the Backpack by Molla Mills. You need the yarn ICA in two colors, 5 balls in the base color (in the tutorial Chilli) and 2 balls in the contrast color (in the tutorial Peach). In any case, also a nice Christmas gift, for example, as a gym bag for older daughters or best friends.

On the needles is of course also very busy this month! The color combination of this sh awl from Knitcat I find totally beautiful: light gray and yellow. Very great is also the men's version of the scarf Brianna from my book. Anyway, I'm thrilled that Rike is knitting so many shawls from the book, hach! Be sure to browse through the rest of the posts, maybe there is still one or the other inspiration for Christmas for you.

A great free scarf tutorial I have discovered on Ravelry: the Jasmine Scarf! The pattern are only available in English, but can not be so difficult. You could knit the very, very well from alpaca Fino or Cairo! You need depending on the desired length 3 or 4 strands.

Have a wonderful, knit-filled weekend and a lovely third Advent!
