A wonderful good morning to the Saturday coffee with a little this and that from the knitting world and around Maschenfein.

Sure, a little warm, but so wonderfully pretty that I wanted to show it to you, the picture above of Sandra's test knit of my Kos project for the Hygge book. The part is really one of my favorite parts currently in the closet and in the morning, when it is still quite cool in the conservatory office, you could also catch a glimpse of it from time to time in my Instastories. Mine is pink-beige, that matching sling I have now finally ordered (no joke, pink is my new blue).

This week was for me a little in the sign of the new Wooladdicts yarns, which move in July on the market and here in the store. I haven't knitted nearly as much on my swatches as I would have liked, but they're growing slowly, I'm constantly adjusting my goals here to everyday circumstances, and I'm already looking forward to three rows in the evening. If you want to hibble along, you can already find hibble glimpses of the beautiful new designs and yarn on Instagram in the new account of Wooladdicts. The matching knitting kits are also available here, of course, I can not resist. And I already know which project I would like to knit ... when the baby girl gives me more time to knit again.

By the way, there is a beautiful new cozy cardigan by Joji Locatelli "Like a cloud", for which you could super use the Rakuda cozy dream combination of ITO Rakuda and ITO Sensai.

Bea has test knitted Sandra's new top "Ilios" and it has become sososo great! The pattern is in the very last trains and the matching kit is then here in all desired colors. A really great new summer piece knitted from the buttery soft Sole!

Another nice new summer top is "Sayer" by Julie Hoover. And if you prefer to wear it with sleeves, you might like Batavia.

What else is on my mind: This Morgenpost article about a father's love for his child with Down syndrome and the movie 24 Weeks. I saw the film the other night, and the end really took me with it. The decision of this mother is an incredibly difficult one and one cannot evaluate it, especially since the film also deals with a very serious heart defect of the child. But it still occupies me today.
