A wonderful good morning to the Saturday coffee with a little this and that from the knitting world and around Maschenfein.

I have my fourth #hyggeheimgeheim pinned, washed and stretched and am very much in love. Now I'm sitting down to write up the pattern so far, so I can unleash them on my round of test knitters. I'm always good at pushing things to the back of the queue until I can't help it.

While I'm waiting for the yarn for the fifth project, I'm knitting swatches, the Girlfriend cardigan and now and then a row on the baby blanket. I also bought this tutorial for a "Schüttli", which could fit perfectly with the Road to China Light. Whether I will really needle it in the smallest size, I don't know, but definitely such a jacket will jump off my needles next year.

Many of you have asked for yarn alternatives for the following two tutorials from last Saturday's Coffee:

Haven could be knitted in any case double-threaded from Piura, then something cozy from 100% alpaca. If you want to include some summer fibers, you could also combine (beware it will be many-threaded) double-threaded ITO Shio with double-threaded ITO ASA. That pretty much gives you the same gauge and can feel great.

For Zephyr I would try the combination of Canapa and Tynn Line. But that's without any guarantee, because I don't have a sample here yet. Color-wise, there are great possibilities and from the gauge specification, that should work out great. So if you want to experiment a little...

There is some news in the store:

The asymmetrical shawl "IGA" as a wool package, knitted from the exciting combination Sensai and Zome Gima from ITO.

And!!! Tadaaa!!! The brand new and super limited special edition of the project bags of the Hamburg label Minuk in rainbow colors. Some of the colors are so limited that I can certainly no longer organize a replenishment, for others I still have the possibilitye once to reorder and I guess I should do that next week probably quickly, because hardly were the bags set, the first colors were already scarce in stock or even sold out. Good that I have secured my own little bag in the color flamingo.

Quite new there is also a little larger project bags with long carrying strap in the store. These first of all again in the standard colors nature and black.

A somewhat special summer top is the summery Tokonatsu sweater (pattern are available in English), to which the silk yarn Serishin from ITO fits like a glove.

And finally (some of you may have already seen it) the tutorial for the Winter Fur Cardigan by Katrin Schneider is now available. You could knit it from Tynn Alpakka Ull or from Bayak.

Have a great weekend!
