A wonderful good morning to Saturday coffee with a little net whisper from the knitting world.

Have you followed the action #tatortsocken of Lutz aka Maleknitting on Instagram and Facebook? Meanwhile, it is already over (I think) and because I had too much parallel on the needles, I just did not manage to participate. But the idea I found great class!

Speaking of socks (quite sock-heavy here lately): At Handmadekultur you can currently participate in the addi sock wonder contest and hope for big click set prizes! Who wants to participate can apply up to and including December 6, will receive with a little luck the matching sock wonder with which he or she then knits socks until the end of January, shows beautiful pictures and wins at the end with a little luck!

Do you remember the beautiful pattern on the French site, which I had linked two weeks ago in Saturday Coffee? I have received so many hints from you how the pattern works that it has grabbed me and I have developed a scarf design from it. I'm still missing a few pieces of short rows and then it's off to the sink, onto the tension mats and poof a photo. Above in the picture you can see a small part. I had briefly considered the beautiful chili tone to give a contrasting color, but I stay now on the advice of my knitting round ladies but with chili. You may be curious!

Yesterday at the knitting meeting I tried on the super oberhammer mega great BeauB Cardigan from Kerstin after a tutorial from rililie. She knits it from Silk Patagonia and Mohair Luxe, which has been such a good idea. Really, it's so unbelievably great, I'd love to cast it on right away too. If you're interested in learning more, I'd be happy to send you exact quantities. Sometimes I wish I had some blinders on, my to-knit list is growing immeasurably.

Speaking of Silk Patagonia: I have finally put the wool package for the French Cancan in the store. Some people have already knitted this beautiful shawl in Silk Patagonia and I was allowed to borrow the model from Julia Feinmotorik for a little photo shoot. The wool package contains two skeins of 100g in your desired colors.

During one of my sleepless nights last week, I came across this super interesting gauge experiment. You really need to read this! The basic idea: Let 6 knitters knit stitch samples in one and the same yarn with one and the same needle size and you get 6 different sized stitch samples. It's so impressively laid out in the article that you can 't help but knit your own swatch before each project.

As the very last thing I leave you today a beautiful free hat tutorial here, which I discovered via Pinterest. This hat could be knitted from Cusco, possibly even double-threaded with a smaller needle size.... Make a stitch test :)!

Have a nice weekend.
