The Xmas Rose Sweater by ChrisBerlin is a casual sweater with a sophisticated shoulder construction. Knitted seamlessly from the top down, the contiguous shoulder construction creates a saddle shoulder that ensures the sweater fits well. The neck is shaped by short rows. The sleeves are cut wide with tight cuffs that are reminiscent of cuffs.
The yarn selection is made up of two different yarns and colors. Premia mohair is deliberately used as a contrasting color or yarn in the Fair Isle pattern, which makes it easier to maintain the yarn tension. The mohair yarn is knitted in two threads, as it is thinner than the merino yarn.

Sizes

1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) = 92 (99, 112, 120, 128, 138, 149, 161) cm chest circumference of the finished sweater.
The Xmas Rose is knitted with a positive ease of approx. 16 cm.

Recommended yarn

LAMANA - Lima (50% wool / 25% silk / 25% alpaca) and LAMANA - Premia (60% mohair, 40% silk)
Attention! The yarns are not knitted together, two threads of Premia form the contrasting color to Lima.

gauge

24.5 stitches = 10 cm knitted on 3.5 mm needles in stockinette stitch, measured after washing and stretching.
