Tuntu - knitting instructionstions
printed knitting pattern
The Finnish word Tuntu describes the feeling that a texture triggers in your fingertips. Feel security as you snuggle into the Tuntu sweater and run your hand over its soft surface. Feel the fine details in the cable stitch, the accentuated lines of lifting stitches at the cuffs and the round yoke. Notice the pleasant volume of the double-knit bands that make a smooth transition to the main body in stockinette stitch. Teti Lutsak's design features many interesting but not too difficult details, and its body-hugging cut makes it cozy and cozy. The sweater can be combined quite differently, elegant with blouse and also casual with jeans.
Seamless from the bottom up in the round, you start Tuntu directly with the interesting textured pattern at the cuff, which also provides the slight A-line, and knit straight up to the armpit. Then work the sleeves separately and join them with the body stitches. Shape the yoke with short rows of wrap stitches. Finally, knit the textured pattern again using fine cables and lifting stitches up to the neck cuff. The transitions from the sleeve and waist cuffs to the smoothly knitted main part and also from the yoke to the neck cuff are knitted double and give the sweater a particularly elegant finish.
