The First Cardigan

Just like "The First Sweater", "The First Cardigan" by Lizzie Hester is a very cool piece. At first glance, it looks simple and beautiful, but a second glance reveals lots of great details that make this cardigan so special. The cardigan is knitted seamlessly top down with raglan slants and the neck is shaped with short rows. A special finish is added to the neckline and the facing, which are worked in double knit for a very clean look. The body is knitted in stockinette stitch with a straight cut, while the sleeves are worked in half patties, have a slight extra width and end in a tight cuff for a great drape. An all-round successful sweater for every body shape and every occasion.

Sizes

1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) = 84 (89, 94, 99, 104, 109) (119, 129, 139, 149, 159, 169) cm chest circumference of the finished cardigan. The First Cardigan is knitted with a positive ease of approx. 9 cm.

Wool package

The wool package contains the necessary amount of Pascuali - Cumbria (60 % cotton, 40 % viscose) in your desired color for your size. You will also need 3.0 - 4.0 mm knitting needles (or needles to match the gauge), 4 buttons and the ENGLISH pattern.
