Storm Slipover Junior - Knitting pattern

Storm Slipover Junior by PetiteKnit is the pullover version of the Storm Sweater. The textured pattern consists mainly of knit and purl stitches and is very varied to knit, so that knitting fun is not neglected.
This sweater is knitted from the top down. The back is worked first. To do this, stitches are cast on at the back neckline and the back section is knitted up to the armpits. Then stitches are picked up from the cast-on edge for the two shoulders and these are knitted separately. The neckline is shaped by increases. Below the neckline, the two front pieces are joined and also knitted up to the underarm. At this point, the front and back pieces are knitted in rounds up to the hem. Finally, stitches are picked up at the armholes and neckline and cuffs are knitted on in a rib pattern.
