Sandown socks
The Sandown socks by Maya Macdonald are kept comparatively simple at first glance, but the second look they captivate with many small and clear details such as the reinforced cap heel or the clear pattern on the shaft.
The socks are knitted from the cuff to the toe, and the knitting is initially very varied, because the pattern on the shank consists of structural patterns and simple cable patterns. Then there's the reinforced cap heel, and then the knitting turns into a mindless knitting project that grows into the finished sock in the waiting room or meeting, as it were, along the way.
It's worth mentioning that Maya Macdonald doesn't work with shoe sizes, but with circumferences, so that the length can be easily adjusted individually.
Sizes
S (M, L) = 18 (20, 22) cm circumference of the foot. The length of the foot is adjusted individually during knitting.
Wool package
The wool package contains the necessary amount of Schachenmayr Regia - Premium Silk ( 55% virgin wool, 25% polyamide, 20% silk) in your desired color for your size. In addition, you will need knitting needles with a size of 2.25 - 2.5mm (or matching the gauge) and the ENGLISH pattern.
