Mayra - Christmas shawl 2023
The Mayra shawl is made up of 66 individual shells knitted in garter stitch, which are worked one after the other - one shell after the next. The individual shells can be knitted with two different qualities in the same, a similar or two different colors. It is also possible to do without the second quality and only use different colors without mohair.
With a length of approx. 250 cm, the shawl is very large - due to its shallow depth and low weight, it is nevertheless fluffy and light, making it a cozy favorite companion.

The shawl turned out really great! I knitted it from Cashmere lace Bio with needle 4.5. I needed about 7 balls. I also made cuffs from the rest. Cashmere is so fluffy, light and incredibly warm! I love love love cashmere, it costs money but I absolutely don't regret it, love is blind💕!

Dear Catharina,
A variant made only from mohair works just as well. However, as we have not tested such a variant, it is not included in the pattern and therefore there is no kit for it. But we'll take your suggestion on board and have a look at it.
If you want to knit a pure mohair version, it's best to add the pattern separately to your shopping cart and three balls each of Premia from Lamana in two colors of your choice.
