KIRA Jumper - PDF knitting pattern
PDF knitting pattern from Lotilda
The KIRA jumper is a loose-fitting basic sweater with heavily dropped shoulders, a round neckline and narrow sleeves. The style is knitted from the top down.
The back and front necklines are shaped using increases and the back and front sections are first knitted in rows up to the armholes. Both pieces are joined under the arms and then worked in the round.
For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the armholes and also worked in rounds. All hems are bound off loosely in stockinette stitch, creating a pretty rolled edge.
Finally, a double-face facing is knitted onto the neckline and then the stitches for the rolled edge are picked up from this.
