Holger Sweater - Knitting pattern
printed knitting pattern from PetiteKnit
The Holger Sweater by PetiteKnit is a wonderful children's knitted sweater that is reminiscent of the cheerful Pippi Longstocking with its stripes and colorful accents and is knitted seamlessly from the top down. While the body is knitted with stripes, the sleeves and neck cuffs are knitted in a single color. First, the upper part of the back is worked in rows, while the shoulder slants are worked in short rows. At the same time, the stripe pattern is knitted. The shoulders are then worked separately on a circular needle. These are then joined at the front to form the front. The front and back are joined to form the body, which is worked in rounds with stripes on a circular needle. The sleeves are made from stitches picked up around the armholes. The cuff at the neckline is knitted last using picked-up stitches and folded over twice.
