Hedda Top (PDF)

For the summery Hedda top, first work two triangles separately for the front and back and join them at the appropriate height. The front and back are then closed to form a round. The body is knitted straight right to the bottom and ends with an I-cord. The braids for the straps are finally joined with the provisional stops of the front and back pieces and can be individually adjusted in length, just like the length of the body.

Chest measurement: (80/84/88) (92/97/101/105/109) (114/126/139) cm
The top should be knitted with about 0-5 cm positive ease.

Yarn

(3/3/4) (4/4/4/5) (5/6/7) skein Knitting For Olive - Pure Silk (100 % silk, LL approx. 250 m/50 g) - here in the color "Putty" (two-ply)

gauge

19 sts on 10×10 cm double thread in stockinette stitch (after washing and stretching).

Tools

- 4.0 mm circular knitting needle 60-100 cm (or suitable for the gauge)
- cable needle
- 4.0 mm auxiliary needle, e.g. from a needle set (or suitable for the gauge)
- 8 stitch markers
- Stitch holder or scrap yarn (for holding stitches still)
- Sewing needle
