Knitting kit for the "Debutant Cardigan" from SandnesGarn Magazine 2308 DIY (Vol.1).

In the Debutant Cardigan, Sandnes delivers a cool and simple cardigan that's easy to knit, but stands out for its pop of color. With Jazzy Pink you are colorful this fall! What's special about this one is that you get two sets of pattern. You can decide whether you prefer to knit top down or the other way around.

If you knit the Debutant Cardigang top down, you start in the neck with the cast-on edge. The neckline is formed by increases, while the raglan increases start at the same time. When the raglan bias is finished, the knit is divided into the two sleeves and the body, which is then knit in rows down to the cuff. The sleeves are worked in rounds. Finally, the button bands and neck cuff are knitted on.

If you want to knit the cardigan from the bottom up, start the body at the bottom cuff and knit the body in rows to under the armpits. Then knit the sleeves also from the cuffs to the armpits but in rounds. Thread all the pieces onto one needle and work the raglan slants by decreases. Here, too, the button bands and the neckband are knitted on at the end.

The cardigan is knit with Tynn Silk Mohair (57% mohair, 15% virgin wool, 28% silk) on a 3.5mm needle (or matching the gauge).

Knitting kit

The knitting kit contains the necessary amount of Sandnes - Tynn Silk Mohair (57% mohair, 15% virgin wool, 28% silk) in the color of your choice for your size and optionally the Sandnes yarn magazine 2308. Additionally you need knitting needles of the thicknesses 3.0 - 3.5 mm (or matching the gauge) and 5/ 5/ 5/ 5/ 6/ 6/ 6 buttons.
