The Darjeeling Cardigan is a soft and light cardigan with a classic and feminine expression, inspired by the equally classic Darjeeling tee grown at the foot of the Himalayas. It contains a certain delicacy and sweetness, is rounded and delicate. The cardigan can be worn over summer dresses on cool summer evenings or as a soft and feminine component with pants and jeans.
The Darjeeling Cardigan is worked from the top down, making it easy to adjust to the desired length. Ribbed cuffs are made along the fronts and neck, which are knitted directly with the cardigan. Around the armholes, stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are then shaped with short rows. Both the sleeves and the torso end with ribbed cuffs. To close the cardigan, a belt is made.
The Darjeeling Cardigan is designed with a wider chest circumference than the actual chest circumference on the body (positive ease). If your chest circumference is e.g. 98 cm, you should choose a size 2 for the perfect fit.
