Description

Darjeeling Cardigan

The Darjeeling Cardigan is a soft and lightweight cardigan with a classic and feminine expression, inspired by the equally classic Darjeeling tee grown at the foot of the Himalayas. The cardigan can be worn over summer dresses on cool summer evenings or as a soft and feminine component with pants and jeans.
The Darjeeling Cardigan is worked from the top down, making it easy to adjust to the desired length. Along the fronts and neck are made ribbed cuffs, which are knitted directly with the cardigan.

Around the armholes pick up stitches for the sleeves, which are then shaped with short rows. Both the sleeves and the torso end with ribbed cuffs. To close the cardigan, a belt is made.
The Darjeeling Cardigan is designed with a wider chest circumference than the actual chest circumference on the body (positive ease). If your chest circumference is e.g. 98 cm, you should choose a size 2 for the perfect fit.

Knitting kit

The knitting kit contains the necessary amount of Knitting for Olive - Soft Silk Mohair (70% mohair, 30% silk) in your desired colors for your selected size and optionally the knitting pattern. In addition, you need knitting needles of 4.5 mm and 6.0 mm (or matching the gauge).
