Cecil Sweater
The Cecil sweater from Moreca Knit is a beautiful, simple sweater with an oversized cut and cosy collar. This makes it the perfect companion on uncomfortable days, but at the same time you are dressed in casual chic.
The sweater is knitted from the top down. You start with a provisional cast-on, which is immediately divided into the two shoulder sections, which are then knitted separately. These two sections are then joined and the neckline is shaped with increases. The front section is knitted in rows up to the armpits. The back is then prepared and the back neckline is shaped with short rows. Now the back is also worked in rows up to the armpits. At this point, the front and back are joined and worked in the round to the hem. Now pick up the stitches at the neckline and knit the collar. For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the sleeve holes and worked in the round to the cuff.
Sizes
XS/ S/ M/ L/ XL/ 2XL/ 3XL = 115/ 120/ 125/ 130/ 135/ 142/ 150 cm chest circumference of the finished sweater.
The Cecil sweater is knitted with a positive ease of approx. 30 cm.
Wool package
The wool package contains the required amount of Sandnes Alpakka Ull (65% alpaca, 35% virgin wool) in your desired color for your size. You will also need 3.5 - 4.5 mm knitting needles (or needles to match the gauge) and the pattern.
