Sandnes - Alpakka Ull
Alpakka Ull by SANDNES with its composition of 65% alpaca and 35% virgin wool combines the lightness of wool with the special warmth of alpaca fibers. Soft and yet resistant, Alpakka Ull is suitable for both adult and children's clothing.
Responsibility
The alpaca wool comes from Peru, where the animals can live freely and are sheared only once a year. The wool portion comes from Australia and Uruguay and is of course mulesing-free.
Sandnes is committed to making their sustainable and responsible contribution in the ecological cycle. They are in the process of establishing a fully traceable supply chain. The alpacas and Norwegian sheep are raised freely on uncultivated land, so no deforestation or anything like that is necessary. In addition, green electricity from hydropower is used for production and the water used is then purified again.
