Big JUNA Cardigan

The Big JUNA cardigan by Lotilda is a beautiful oversized cardigan that is knitted with a brushed yarn and large needles for a snappy knit and offers airy comfort. The bright colors and half brioche pattern make this cardigan an eye-catcher in any closet.
The cardigan is knitted seamlessly top down. You start with the narrow back panel and then cast on stitches for the back. Shorten the rows to shape the neck and shoulders and then knit the back to the bottom of the armholes. Then knit the front pieces to the back piece. The stitches from the back facing are integrated into the front pieces so that you can knit the facing for the front pieces directly.
You also knit short rows for the front pieces for the fit and at the same time work increases for the V-neck. Join the two front pieces to the back piece under the arms and knit the body to the hem in a half brioche pattern. Then pick up stitches from the armholes for the sleeves and knit these in the half brioche pattern in rounds to the cuffs. Bind off all cuffs with an I-cord edge.

Knitting kit

The knitting kit contains the required amount of Kaos Yarn - Organic Brushed Alpaca (100% alpaca) in your desired color for your size as well as optional PDF knitting pattern. You will also need 8.0 mm knitting needles (or needles matching the gauge of the gauge swatch).
