Description

The First Sweater

The "The First Sweater" by Lizzie Hester is a pretty cool affair. If it seems simple and beautiful at first glance, at second glance many great details open up, which make the special something about this sweater. Thus, the sweater is knitted seamlessly top down with raglan slants, the neck is formed with short rows. The neckline gets a special finish with the ribbed and folded cuff. The body is knitted with a straight cut in stockinette stitch and slightly cropped, whereas the sleeves are worked in half brioche, have a slight extra width and end in a tight cuff for a great fall. An all-around successful sweater for any body shape and any occasion.
