Smilla's Sleeves
Smilla's Sleeves by Anne Ventzel is a cozy soul warmer with large sleeves in a cable pattern. The bolero is knitted from the top down. You start with the back neckline and knit the back piece. Then pick up stitches at the shoulders and knit the front pieces to under the armpits. There, all parts are then taken on one needle and finished together. The sleeves are knitted directly.
Smilla's Sleeves is knitted with one thread of Pure Silk and two threads of Soft Silk Mohair.
Sizes
When choosing a size, you should take your shoulder width as a starting point. At the shoulders you usually have a completely different size than, for example, at the chest circumference, which is why you may have to choose a different size than usual. Try on a cardigan from your wardrobe and imagine it without fronts. This may help you with the measurements given here when choosing a size.

Wool package
The wool package contains the necessary amount of Knitting for Olive - Pure Silk (100% silk) and Soft Silk Mohair (70% mohair, 30% silk) in your desired color for your size. In addition, you will need knitting needles 4.0 - 4.5 mm (or matching the gauge) and the knitting pattern.

alternatively you can use Compatible Cashmere also from Knitting fo Olive. The yarn is oknzipiert as a mohair substitute and consists of a thin cashmere thread.
