Sandnes - Tynn Silk Mohair Print

Tynn Silk Mohair Print is the delicate sister of the heavier Silk Mohair variant in a colorful garment. You can use this yarn made from 57% kid mohair, 15% virgin wool and 28% silk for ultra-thin garments or as a great companion to other qualities. In the print version, the yarn adds great color accents to your knitwear.

Responsibility

The mohair comes from Angroa goats from animal welfare certified farms in South Africa. The silk comes from China.
Sandnes is committed to making their sustainable and responsible contribution in the ecological cycle. They are in the process of establishing a fully traceable supply chain. The alpacas and Norwegian sheep are raised freely on uncultivated land, so no deforestation or anything like that is necessary. In addition, green electricity from hydropower is used for production and the water used is then purified again.
