Description
Paul Scarf
To mark the milestone birthday of Pascuali founder Paul Pascuali, Maschenfein is dedicating a small design to him: Sandra and Marisa have created the Paul Scarf, which is knitted from the pure cashmere yarn "Cashmere 6/28 BIO".
The small shawl is started at one point, where it slowly builds up through side increases and transitions into our popular Frieda pattern. The main section is knitted in the pattern before the shawl becomes narrower again towards the second tip through side decreases. Quickly knitted and very varied thanks to the beautiful pattern, the Paul Scarf is pure knitting pleasure.
To make Paul even happier, one euro from every tutorial sold (up to and including February 29, 2024) will be donated to a good cause of his choice.
You can also buy the pattern individually from us. You can find the PDF knitting pattern (in German and English) here.

I would like to knit the scarf without cashmere, but with cotton and/or silk. I'm wondering whether the Nepal or Pinta from Pascuali would be suitable... or the Morning Salutation Vegan Fino from Kremke Soul Wool... What do you think?
There are soo many great wools - it's really hard to decide...

Dear Anne,
We recommend Saffira from Pascuali with 25% silk content and the weight also matches the gauge in the pattern: https://www.maschenfein.com/produkt/saffira-75-schafwolle-25seide/
Love greetings
