Description

Luna - shawl - Midnatssol

The shawl Luna starts at one point and is knitted from there with increases on both sides and decreases along the line running through the shawl to the deepest point. From here, the increases on one side are left out, forming the second half of the shawl.

Blocks of garter stitch interspersed with rows in stockinette stitch and counter-rotating blocks of stockinette stitch with interruptions in garter stitch, which follow the natural principle of the Fibonacci series, give the shawl a harmonious pattern progression. They provide variety in knitting, so that guaranteed no boredom arises.

The knitting kit contains the necessary amount of CaMaRose - Midnatssol (54% alpaca, 36% Tencel, 10% virgin wool) in your desired color and optionally the pattern as a PDF download. In addition, you need a 80 cm long 3.25 mm circular knitting needle (or matching the gauge).

    Dear Marisa, my Mitnatssol comes only on Saturday, but I have now already a question about the cloth Luna. Since the gauge does not go, I had read in the Samstagskaffee that the pattern are revised and a sequence would be added. How should I understand this?
    Then, after the fourth row is ininstructionsttern (pause) what does that mean?
    I'm really looking forward to the wool and that I can finally get started.

      Hello Froossi,
      on the picture is the original cloth in a different yarn. Unfortunately, the same color does not exist in Midnatssol. The closest color there is 9536 jeansbla.
      It comes to 9 balls, because the yardage is equal to 4.5 balls of Midnatssol. You can then knit the last skein of the outside and the inside. Otherwise you would have two half balls left.
