KIM V-Neck Jumper - PDF Knitting Pattern

The KIM V-Neck Jumper is a casual V-neck sweater with integrated sleeves, which means the sleeves are knitted directly into the back and front.

Over the entire width of the shoulder and sleeves are worked short rows at the beginning, which gives the sweater a good fit and its special cut.

First, knit the right and left back facings, and then set them still. Then knit the back piece to the long side of the facing and after shaping the shoulder arm slopes, knit straight down to the armholes.
Then the left and right front pieces are knitted on separately one after the other, integrating the stitches of the stopped facing into the respective front piece and repeating the short rows in the opposite direction to the back piece. Increases are worked on the front pieces for the V-neck and after reaching the V-neck depth, both front pieces are joined and then also knitted to the armholes.

Close the sleeves in the stitch and then continue knitting the body, with some decreases for a nice curve under the sleeves, in rounds until the end.

The hem is finished with an I-cord. Due to special edge stitches, the edges at the open edges of the sleeves and at the V-neck do not need I-cord edging.
