KIM Cardigan - knitting pattern

The cardigan "Kim" from LOTILDA with 3/4 sleeves is knitted seamlessly from the top in one piece. The stitches for the facing and for the shoulders and sleeves are picked up with the provisional gauge.

First start with the left neck facing and then knit the stitches of the provisional cast-on for the shoulder and sleeves up to the height of the armhole. The right side is worked in the same way. Then the provisional cast ons are dissolved and the stitches for the back piece are picked up from the left front piece, the left facing, the right facing and the right front piece.

The shoulder and arm slopes are formed by short rows, the neckline slope by increases and the curves under the sleeves, as well as the side slope by decreases. The bottom part is given a short "cuff" in the plain pattern so that the edge does not curl in.

Due to the top-down knitting method and the special construction, the model can be easily adjusted in size. Adjustment options you will find in the pattern.
