Garden sweater
The Garden sweater by Ankestrick is a charming sweater with a delicate lace pattern and V-neckline that makes you want to wear it in spring. The cotton content of the yarn combination makes it a little airy, but the mohair yarn means the sweater is still warm enough on cooler days.
As you would expect from Ankestrick, the fit is casual but well-fitting. It is knitted seamlessly from the top down. It starts at the neck, where the back is knitted in back and forth rows down to the armpits. Stitches are then picked up at the cast-on edge for the shoulders, which later merge into the front pieces. Increases are used to form the V-neck. When the front pieces are joined and reach the armpits, the front and back pieces are joined and the body is knitted down to the hem. For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the armholes and then knitted in the round to the cuff.
Sizes
1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9) = 102 (108, 114, 120, 126)(133, 140, 152, 164) cm chest circumference of the finished sweater.
The Garden sweater is knitted with a positive ease of approx. 25 cm.
Wool package
The wool package contains the required amount of Knitting for Olive - Merino (100 % virgin wool) and Knitting for Olive - Soft Silk Mohair (70 % mohair, 30 % silk) in your desired color for your size. You will also need 3.5 and 4.0 mm knitting needles (or needles to match the gauge) and the pattern.
