Fillip Sweater Junior - 2405-04

The Fillip Sweater Junior from Sandnes Magazine 2405 is a beautiful plain-colored children's sweater with textured stripes.
The sweater is knitted from the top down. First cast on stitches for the back. The back is knitted in rows up to the armpits. Then stitches are picked up from the cast-on edge for the shoulders and front sections. The front pieces are knitted separately, while the neckline is shaped by increases and decreases. The two pieces are joined below the neckline and worked as a front piece up to the armpits. At this point, the work continues in rounds to the hem, as the front and back pieces are joined. For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the armholes and worked in rounds with decreases up to the sleeve cuffs. Finally, the neckline is worked.

Knitting kit

The knitting kit contains the required quantity of Sandnes - Mandarin Petit (100% cotton) in your desired color for the selected size as well as optional single knitting pattern. You will also need 3.5 - 4.0 mm knitting needles (or needles matching the gauge of the gauge swatch).
