Erikka Vest
The Erikka vest by Rosa P. is a versatile design for the transitional season, as you can choose between different facings and lengths. Knitted with comparatively heavy yarn, the Erikka vest will keep you warm when you want to wear your blouses in the soft spring, but the temperatures are still more reminiscent of winter.
The vest is knitted seamlessly from the top down. Start with the back by casting on stitches and shaping the shoulders with short rows. Then knit up to the shoulders. Now pick up stitches at the shoulders for the front pieces and knit them individually. Increases form the V-neck. When both front pieces also reach the armpits, they are joined to the back piece and the body is knitted in rows to the hem. Finally, the facing is knitted. You can choose between a facing in a rib pattern or a facing using the double knit technique.

1/2/3/4/5/6 = 103/110/116/121.5/128/134 cm chest circumference of the finished vest.
Knitting kit
The knitting kit contains the required amount of BC yarn - Hamelton Tweed 2 (90 % virgin wool, 10 % viscose) in your desired color for your size as well as optional PDF knitting pattern. You will also need 6.0 - 6.5 mm knitting needles (or needles matching the gauge). The knitting kit is designed for the short vest with double knit facing and without buttons.
