Our wardrobe favorite, the basic shirt is taken to a new level with Carlie Tee: worked seamlessly top down with an interesting saddle shoulder construction, Carlie is exciting to knit and figure flattering to wear. Carlie Tee is knit in double yarn and starts with a doubled rib cuff at the neck. Then continue in stockinette stitch and short rows to form the raised back as well as the saddle shoulder hems. After completing the armholes, sleeve and body stitches are divided. The short sleeves as well as the body are finished with a ribbed cuff.

Yarn: 1 skein Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (70% mohair, 30% silk; 225 m [246 yd] per 25 gr [0.9 oz]), yarn size "Lace", 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 6) balls; and 1 thread Knitting for Olive Merino or Cotton Merino or Pure Silk, (250 m [273 yd] per 50 gr [1.8 oz]), yarn size "Fingering", 4 (4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6) balls;

Needles: 4.5 mm / US7 and 3.5 mm / US4 circular knitting needles 80 cm [32″], 4.5 mm / US7 and 3.5 mm / US4 needle gauge, or needle size to achieve the gauge, and 2.5 mm / US1.5 circular knitting needle for Italian cast off.

Gauge: 20 sts and 30 rows = 10 cm [4″] plain stitch with 4.5 mm / US7 needles
