Aron Sweater Junior - 2401-02

The Aron Sweater Junior from Sandnes Magazine 2401 is a beautiful sweater for children with a classic stripe pattern.
It is knitted from the top down. First the back is knitted in rows up to the armpits, then stitches are picked up at the shoulders for the front sections and these are knitted individually. The neckline is shaped by increases and decreases until they are joined below the neckline. The front piece is then also knitted in rows up to the armpits, before being joined in the round with the back piece. The body is worked in the round to the hem. For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the armholes and knitted in the round before being finished with a slip stitch with a folded edge. Finally, the stitches for the neckband are picked up from the neckline, knitted, folded inwards and sewn on.

Knitting set

The Sandnes knitting kit contains the required amount of Sandnes Tynn Merinoull (100% virgin wool) in your desired color and for the selected size as well as optional single pattern. You will also need 2.5 - 3.0 mm knitting needles (or needles to match the gauge of the gauge swatch).
