The other day I told you about my knitting friend Cécile, who knits the babies in our circle of friends with blankets and pillows. Today I show you her absolute favorite baby blanket (I've christened it "Paul & Paula") and because it is so simple, she also quickly wrote down the pattern for you, then you can get started right away.

It couldn't be simpler: stockinette (stockinette stitch) in two colors without any border (I like how it makes the blanket curl up at the edges):

Always alternate per color one row right (there) and one row left (back).

Depending on the sample, you need to calculate the number of stitches for a baby blanket. A size of 80x80cm is sufficient.
