Hello, hello there we are again! While in Bavaria the vacations have just started, they are here in Berlin almost over again. Yes, pssstttt, you can already quietly look forward to the first Saturday coffee after our long blog summer break. Only three more sleeps, then there is our beloved Saturday coffee for you again here in the blog.

To write us a little warm again, we activate our monthly series "On the needles" now again. At Auf den Nadeln we show you what we currently (again, ahem) so have on the needles and if you like, you join in and link your monthly Auf den Nadeln blogposts here with us, so that we can all browse around.

September jacket after Petite Knit

Photos: © Maschenfein

I have my September jacket after Petite Knit from Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair dug out again. I had already worn it in the winter. Then it lay neglected in the corner during the shutdown here. Now I'm happily knitting on in the brioche. Even in the outdoor pool at 27 degrees in the shade, I have it with me.

Now I'm just thinking about how much the sleeves will probably grow after washing. Currently, they are clearly too short for me. Probably I will have to wash the whole part so once between, to play it safe. Nothing is worse than too short sleeves. But they also do not have to be too long.

By the way, you can see my Cocoon yarn holder from the Danish label Geo-Metry on the left in the picture. I think it's great, especially for on the go. The ball already stays in place. The Cocoon Yarn Holder is currently out of stock in the color natural, but it is already on its way to us again. You can order it already if you have a little patience. We have enough black in stock. It is also very nice.

Cambio sweater after Katrin Schneider

Sandra has among other things just the Cambio sweater after a brand new tutorial from Katrin Schneider on the needles. Fast as the wind, it is almost unchained again. It's knitted in double-thread from ITO Sensai. Or alternatively (we are currently testing this for Maschenfein ) ITO Kinu and ITO Sensai.

Very hard with this sweater is the color decision... I can tell you already. However, we can already admire some beautiful examples in the making, so that you can also orientate yourself later on finished examples in case of decision weakness.

The knitting pattern are currently still being tested, but we'll shout very loudly as soon as they (and of course the two matching wool packs) are available.

Pattern: Cambio Sweater by Katrin Schneider, available soon via RavelryWool package

My heart just did a little leap of joy when I looked at what I had on the needles in our last "On the Needles" post before the long summer break in March: it was my OSAKA, which has been finished for a looooong time now. Ha!
