I am so excited, you won't believe it. In the last few weeks you have already caught a mini glimpse of the creation of my latest e-book on Instagram and next Thursday it finally goes online! Today I'm going to tell you a little bit more about how this new hat, called ... no, no, stop! I won't tell you yet ... how the hat L.... came about.

Mütze mit Blättermuster strickenMy blogger friend Martina, the designer, played a major role in the creation of maschenfein. She has not only patiently endured my hours of thought about whether now knitting and angels still fit together, or whether not a new blog should be here. And in general, what it should be called. No, she also happily accepted my order and designed my new logo in a really great collaboration, which I'm still happy about every day.

And finally, she made my e-books maschenfein for me and created a template that I can now use very efficiently! Our collaboration was so great and then a few weeks ago when she was ogling this hat over there at Caro 's, I started doing the math in my head and googled my fingers to death for the matching hat color.

It should be the same color and something like a similar pattern. I found what I was looking for at Debbie Bliss. Mia knits wonderfully and the result is great! The cuff and pattern turned out to be more complex than I thought. What I have since geribbelt until I had found the perfect solution for me.

When I was then so at the cuffs and envelopes and decreases testing, I emailed in between then just times the Caro and that ended after lively mail traffic in an hour-long phone call. And I won't tell you more now, on Thursday you'll just have to hop over to Caro! Do not worry, I will remind you!

Oh yes! I have already taken the first big hurdle: Martina is already wearing her new cap and she likes it! *joy*
