A wonderful good morning to Saturday coffee with some nice links from the knitting world.

Saturday Coffee 76 Blog

While I'm recovering a bit with my whippet from the past, very intense weeks in terms of book and the last video shoot for makerist, many new plans are already emerging in my head. I would love to tell you more, but good things take time and sometimes it's better to let projects mature before revealing them.

Katharina recently recommended the site Schaf und Schäfer to me, a crowdfunding project about using fairly traded merino wool from German sheep. Very exciting and worth supporting.

At about the same time I received a request from Marlin regarding another crowdfunding project. Marlin is about vegan wool, namely a yarn made from wood fibers. This is also worth supporting and watching.

Mentally, I'm a little busy with the topic of ponchos for the coming fall. Ponchos were already big in the past winter, but I have not yet knitted one. Her? I'm not quite sure what I really want yet. With a collar like this one? Or without a collar like this? Or with a hood? Should it be braids or rather quite plain? You could just play with colors, like here. Let's see where it will drive me.

In general, I'm actually already in the middle of late autumn. Because also the topic of knitting gloves is just already very present in my thoughts. For this purpose, I have already ordered all strengths of the beautiful Addi Colibri needle lo ops in 15cm between 2 and 3.5mm. Soon you may see here the first stitches for fingertips and thumbs. In high summer. Crazy, isn't it?

In the coming week there is finally the next knitting kit, the chipmunk scarf, in the store. My great test knitters were busy and it's incredible how different the scarf looks in the different color combinations! Here is Kathrin 's shawl and I'll show you the other test knitters' shawls next week, too!

Have a great weekend!
