A good morning to today's Saturday Coffee with some nice links from the knitting world.

Saturday coffee-49

This new poncho sweater from Shibui yarns I find quite wonderful! Only a different neckline I think I would like. But this airy I like very much and would fit very well in my closet.

I super super love listening to the Woolful Podcast. I really enjoyed the last episode with Pam Allen, who is behind the beautiful Quince & Co. yarns. It's so nice to listen to how life falls into place sometimes....

At my last knitting meeting, Heidi took out her old knitted XXXXXL Santa Claus socks, which will soon adorn the shop window at Knit Knit. I thought they were great and immediately scoured the web a bit for Santa socks. Drops has this nice tutorial. But this one is also great. Both would only have to be extrapolated to an XXL version. If you prefer crocheting, you can try these Christmas socks.

The absolute top hit in this context is, of course, the mini Advent calendar of Sophia from small knitted gloves. She has also shown the parts on Instagram. Crazy, right?

On the 1st of Advent (November 29), there will be a special movie night for knitters at 5pm at DaWanda Snuggery. How great is that? I must confess that I could only very difficult to do without my knitting things during my last visit to the cinema. But if knitting is not only allowed, but explicitly encouraged, of course I'm thrilled! I am very happy about the invitation from Susi Strickliesel, who organizes this event together with DaWanda. Our Advent planning is not quite finished, but maybe I'll be there!

By the way: We have just reached the middle of the month and have already collected almost 50 posts at Auf den Nadeln. I'm happy!

Have a great weekend!
