A wonderful good morning to the Saturday coffee with many beautiful ideas from the knitting world and around Maschenfein. Right away with a first post that reminds of past Maschenfein euphoria: the Loppa cardigan from Pinneguri.

Those who have been reading here for a while may have either knitted a Loppa themselves, or followed the many beautiful color variations that came before.... mmhhh, yes exactly when was that? Anyway, we stumbled across the Loppa cardigan again, based on Pinneguri 's tutorial, and I'd argue it's one of the most famous faire isle cardigans on the web.
I myself have knitted my Loppa cardigan in any case in the summer of 2015. The topic "Steeken" I had then worked up in more detail in the blog. Wonderful ... when I look at the pictures so, I stand mentally in Denmark in the terrace of our beautiful vacation home. The vacation itself was admittedly less successful, but that was neither the Loppa nor the cottage.
Sometime.... it must have been 2016, there was a Loppa-from-Como hype in the Maschenfein community and many, many beautiful color variations were created at that time. You can find the pattern on Ravelry (also in German!) and LAMANA Como is still available in the entire color palette in the store.

Who does not immediately dare to the large jacket, or anyway times a Fair Isle children's project planned: there is also the version Baby Loppa of Pinneguri! The tutorial is also available on Ravelry (but this only in English and Norwegian). LAMANA Como also fits here.

I am a huge fan of Julie Hoover, I think I said that before. Not only her insanely beautiful pictures, which also more often offer a glimpse of a dreamy home, impress me, but also her unexciting, but classy designs. Beautiful is the new cardigan called "Parker" (pattern on Ravelry), which you could knit in Cumbria Fingering from the Fibre Company. Or very classy and light in Cachemire+ from Bergère de France.

Want to think outside the box in interior knitting? We think the sheep pillow by Julia Marsh(pattern on Ravelry) is totally cool. Could be knitted from Wool Addicts Fire and Lang Yak Tweed.

I admit that the current temperatures are more reminiscent of summer vacations than of cap weather. But I'm confident that the latter will also make us happy in the near future. And maybe then you'll feel like making a cable knit beanie like the Mountain Trail Head by Sandra C. You can find the pattern on Ravelry, knit the hat in LAMANA Cusco and a matching bobble in the store (vegetarian, of course).

Also in our #maschenfeinstrickrunde on Instagram is again a lot of beautiful going on. Ulrike (left) knits the brioche sweater Svava from our Hygge book. And Karin aka Wollverknallt (cool name by the way) is knitting my Curry Cardigan from the Basics book. I just continue to love, love, love this color. Curry paired with pink... hach.

Hello all,
I am interested in the knitting pattern Lohman by Julie Hoover, but needed it in German, is there any way to get it.
Am now not as diligent knitter as you, but one or the other part I have already knitted.
Maybe you could help me there would be happy.

Dear Gabriele, the pattern for Lohman are unfortunately only available in English. At Rowan I recently discovered by chance a model with a similar cut: https://knitrowan.com/en/designs-patterns/howeinstructionsttern are also available in German - but this sweater is knitted in single pieces. Otherwise, I can only encourage you to trinstructionssh pattern. On the Internet there are translation aids with the most common knitting terms, they always help very well.
