Unicef Sweater
The Unicef Sweater by Knitting for Olive is a great circular sweater for kids. All proceeds from the sale of the tutorial will be donated to Unicef to support their work with children.
The sweater is knitted in the round top down. The pattern is knitted in the fair isle technique and you can choose the individual children shown. You start twith the double cuff, the neck is formed by short rows and then the round yoke is knitted. The body and sleeves are then knitted separately in the round to the end.
Optionally, the sweater can be knitted from two threads of merino or one thread of merino with one thread of mohair.
Sizes
1 (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12) years = chest circumference of the finished sweater 57 (67, 74, 82, 88, 91, 97) cm
Recommended yarn: Knitting for Olive - Merino either double or with Soft Silk Mohair.
Gauge: 21 sts = 10 cm with needle 4.0 mm
